I got a call from my Uncle Last night. He said that a lady from the Hospital's son is coming into town at Christmas with little Weimy puppies! He has males and females!!!
Nick and I have been thinking of one for a while, but just haven't completely decided. I just kinda thought it was a sign! So we will see.. He said he is still thinking..
The guy gets here on Nick's Birthday! How perfect is that!!! We might be parents for the first time to a grey BABY. Se how precious they are!!!

Santa's Little Helper!
Last night I was busy making my favorite treats of the holiday time!!! FUN STUFF. I went to the grocery store not knowing what I was going to make... NOT a good idea. I bought tons of unnecessary things. But I settled on
Old Fashion Peanut Brittle
Sweet and Salty Haystacks
Heath Bar Nut Clusters
and
Thumb Print Sugar Cookies
I bought because I just can't out do them!
Nick approved he said the the CHOCOLATES were a 10. He knows chocolate! I am not a huge fan.
The Peanut Brittle my favorite.. and I have done better.... You really have to learn your microwave, because I do the MICRO Brittle. It's easy to make it, but hard to master... I had it down at my mom's house. I'm just not quite perfect at our new house. I needed to make like three batches and I just didn't want that much, because I WOULD EAT IT ALL!!! It's the Holidays Splurge GO ahead, But you will puke if you eat 3 batches of brittle. I am out of control with that stuff!
The canisters I got at Big Lots for 99 cents!

The Doty Wedding
This weekend was Tim and Amber Doty's wedding. He played baseball at K-State with Nick. They live in Oklahoma City Edmond Area. Many of the guys Nick played with and their wives were there. I was a be to get to know some of them better. I have heard many storied of all of them. It was good to put a name to a face! After the wedding reception. We went to Dinner with Matt and Nikki. It was lots of fun. We went to BRAVO Italian Cucina. I didn't really like what I ordered, but the salad and bread was delicious! We changed and met up with everyone at the Fox and the Hound. We told stories, laughed, and played a mean game of checkers! GOOD TIMES! Nick and one of the twins. He lives in the Dallas, Area with his wife Tara.
Chad from Kansas City, and I am terrible... can't remember her name.
This is NICK and NICK. He is Nick Selfo. But we really call him CRAZY. It's ironic because he isn't crazy at all. He is the nicest most polite guy in the world! I really enjoyed him. Nick is in his wedding in May. We get to go down to Louisiana. I can't wait. His fiance wasn't able to make it this weekend. She must be great. I am excited to meet her!
US of course!
Matt and Nikki they live in Southlake. I had spent time with Matt a few times, but I finally got to meet Nikki and that was SUPER FUN! We are going to make a visit to them in March hopefully.
Not the best picture, but this was EVERYONE!
I was really bad and didn't take any at the wedding while we were all dresses up BUMMER. I don't even have one of the bride and groom. But that just means I cant wear that dresses again soon! :o)

I am thankful for the Christmas Holiday and what it means to each of us that know our SAVIOR. I love that you are able to share that more in this time of the Season. I hope it radiates off my face.
I am thankful that we are close to done getting the house ready for having everyone over Christmas Day. We already have our puzzle to do and everything.
I am glad we are getting to go to Oklahoma City this weekend. We are going to one of Nick's buddies from college's wedding. I can't wait to meet all the K-State guys, I only know a few of them. I know it will be lots of fun! Hope to have safe travels. It is so fun to be in the car with Nick. We just laugh A LOT!

FUN HAIR!

While I am on the subject of hair! I though I would let you in on my new venture!!! WIGS! I do get a little bored with my pretty blonde but I would never color it that dark! I just know I would get tired of it, and I am all about healthy hair. And it IS NOT healthy to darken and lighten with the season contrary to popular trend!!!
So here is me new purchase!
If everyone was around when I did the makeover! One of the most popular was the Ashley Olson cut. I tried it on me. It didn't work with my hair type. So I went for that cut but an auburn color!
I wore it today for the first time it was fun!!!!

MY Hair DOWN LO!
Yes I do think for a living and I know my hair better than anything!!! It does not look good short and not good really dark. I have ultra fine hair but it's very thick. So what might be the perfect thing for me might be the worst thing for you, but I have been asked to share my secrets so here goes!
My hair. I carry all Redken and Goldwell at my salon. I use Goldwell color glow highlighted leave in treatment when I get out of the shower. It is very light. I use a new product of Redken called Blown Away. It even gives my curls hold. I use a root pump from Pureology. Then for an extra styled look I use Bumble and Bumble Holding spray before I curl when its dry. I use the Bed Head hairspray in the silver can. Then on the second day I restyle with KMS Hair Makeover Spray. I know that sounds like alot !

These are my favorite's! HAPPY HAIR!

BUSY WEEKEND!
Friday afternoon one of Nick's friends from High School came into town. How much fun is it to get to here stories of when they were kids. I loved it. He is in med school and thinking of coming here to finish up. I was getting to tell him all about this wonderful city! Some would disagree, but really it's not a bad place at all. It is a great place for families!
He had to go to Dinner with everyone from Tech so Nick and I decided on a Date! We went to have Chinese food. It was great as usual. We made it home and decided to watch a favorite Wedding Crashers. I made cookies for his friend and just chilled out. Saturday we woke up to Nick making waffles and sausage for breakfast. I was amazing. Always a favorite of mine. Then I was off to a really long day at work!
Saturday night we had my Aunt, Uncle, and Cousin over for dinner. We did a pork tenderloin and BBQ spare ribs, Roasted vegetable orzo pasta, and a Cranberry pine nut salad with vinaigrette dressing.
Sunday we had church which I might add was AMAZING. I feel like I learned a lot. I got know know many more people that I didn't already. Then went to lunch. We got home and took a short little cat nap, and did some chores. We had my parents over for dinner last night. We make elk tenderloin with cracked pepper gravy, Garlic cream Wheat pasta shells (soy), and fresh black eyed peas. They loved it.
The big task of the weekend was figuring out wedding pictures to give to hang . It is just plum difficult there are so many good one. We want them all so I think we are down to a few we know we want for sure!
This one with be on a 36x24 canvas stretched gallery stye for the mantle.
Then this on with be above our big bath tub on the same type of canvas.
This one will be framed in the entry way.
That is all for now. Let us know what you think!

More from Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving was a great tim to spend with family. The Gingerbread house maybe not such a good idea. But the Gingerbread cookies we a HIT! They were great and not much of a mess at all. Faith had lots of fun though, so that's all that matters. Little Noah is sooo precious. It made baby fever worse! He just loved me for some reason and kept hugging my neck it was so comforting!!! I can't imagine what it will feel like to have one of your own. The snow was fun. It was about 20 degrees all that day but we still managed to show Nick the property, and get some 4 wheeling in. Show him a couple of ponds that were trying to freeze over. One day we went into town, because everyone is obsessed with helmets for skiing. I just couldn't imagine covering all my hair in a helmet it didn't make sense. My mom insists we look at them. He brings a few different ones out I try them all on and decided I would rather risk it than wear on of those on my head. Nick was insisting, and I had made my mind up! Till our Seven FOOT guy that was helping us (yes he really was! It made Matt seem short) He came out with a white helmet with silver snowflakes and burgundy satin and gold stitching. I took one look at it and said OKAY I can maybe wear that one. Iy had goggles to match and everything. I felt like a princess when I had that one on... Well I guess I will be the first ever "Helmet Princess" all for the cause of safety! I didn't get to try it out yet, but we are going skiing in Park City in Feb. I will get to break it in there. Nick picked a grey one. He looks pretty studly in his I might add!
It was a great trip we ate ALOT! The sticky buns I made there in the picture were amazing. I don't know if I have had better! I made them twice they turned out much better the second time! The pies were in abundance! We put a pretty good dent in them though!
We both got sick on the way home. I am guessing eating like that did us in since we have been so healthy the past few months. Nick made the comment, "His body was just mad at him for not having enough Myoplex" It was probably the truth!
We are back on track I have made
Penne Pasta with Turkey meatballs (easy and yum)
Gilled Chicken and Asparagus
Green Chili Chicken corn chowder
so far this week!
Last but not least I am very thankful for my family that we were able to see this Holiday, and for our family that we weren't. We are so blessed to have so much love from both sides of or family to overflow into our home!
Nick and I love each other TOO MUCH! (I don't think there is such a thing!)
