Well welcome home to me! i have been soo incredibly busy since i got back... i have just got my pictures sorted through, unpacked, and really just got my life all back in order. that is always a good thing~so to start off i for sure had a white christmas.... Utah had lots and lots of snow so it seemed like your perfect dream christmas. OK no maybe it was because i was with my wonderful man! we planned to get up early and so skiiing, but we decided not to. instead, we woke up and saw what santa brought. Lets just say.... santa was REALLY good to me this year! it was so fun!
OKAY it was really early. The first one is me with my gifts santa brought to send all my family on christmas. Then my mom wanted one of Nick and I and we sent the second one. She didnt like it! ;o( But hey, like we could be serious! It was suck a fun morning. we didnt think we were going to be there so without even thinking about it we changed our plans. then we realized we had no food, and it was Christmas day! so we drove around to like 5 stores and we acctually found one. we got lucky! I made spagetti with turkey meatballs. Sounds pretty christmas to me! okay maybe not, but i did make Nick some fudge that day!
NEW YORK ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Then we left for new york. It took awile to get there but it was well worth the wait. The hotel i picked, after all of the worrying, was perfect. Great location and very nice. That night we went to the Giants and Pats WORLD RECORD game! Every girl i tell keeps asking if i could see TOM BRADY well from the 17th row? I just answer with, well i could see that he was "knock kneed" (i think i might just be a little partial to baseball players!) ;o) Then every man says oh wow that would be really exciting to see the Record setting game. That must have been a thrill. It was i was more thrilled to be there with Nick. Just trying to block out all of the foul language that was being screamed in my ear. Nick would whisper something in my ear every once in a while that made it all better!
The second day was Central Park. It was so beautiful there, even in the middle of the winter. Nick and i walked through probably about three quarters of it. We sat on a bench for a while and just watched people. I could probably do that all day long! We walked to see St. Patricks Cathedral. It was amazing. we saw the big tree and walked by Radio City. Then we just walked around and looked in stores and at different hotels and buildings.
That night we went to see GREASE. It was a good show. Not sure why it would be so hard to hi-light your hair is you were going to be Sandra D. Yea, you heard right. She had brown hair. That being what i notice all the time anyway, it almost ruined it for me. It was still good though. I suggest just renting the movie tho! I guess i liked John Travolta more than i realized! After the show we went and ate at my favorite resturant of the whole trip! It was the most incredible pasta i have ever eate. It was the House Specialty that night, so who knows if they even have it regularly. It was a spinach fettichini topped with cherry tomatoes, artichokes, and grilled chicken, with a garlic and olive oil sauce. UNREAL! I could eat that everyday for the rest of my life.
Then two days after christmas we had alot of Nicks family over for the actual christmas meal... That was kinda exciting for me because i havent ever done it before.. Ok acctually i was a little nervous, because i wanted it to turn out perfect. I wanted everyone to like it... and i wasnt sure because i'm sure there a lot of things my family does alot different than his family. It all turned out as planned though, thanks to a little help from his mom. Also, everyone seemed to like it. There was a ton of food. One thing i did realize is that Nicks family doesn't eat nearly as much as mine does ;o) But good thing he fits in my family too! I mean it only comes once a year, why not make yourself sick. So Nick took all the left overs we had to his dad. I hope he was able to finish them off!
