Thankful Thursday

I am very thankful I am feeling better. Being sick is just not any fun. I am feeling tons better. Thank you for everyone who thought about me.

I am thankful that God makes us feel loved and secure when we need it most! He knows us so personally, and always knows our needs before we do!

I am thankful for my husband. I am am so blessed to have someone in my life that constantly brings out the best in me. Nick's example of the way he lives his life, makes me want to continually be better. He is so giving, unselfish, and is able to think of others needs.

I am so thankful for out little CHOOSE THE RIGHT 7 years olds. Well they are really six right now, but they are just angels. They are very smart, and want to learn more about their Heavenly Father. They are at the age they work hard for you to notice and be pleased with them. They are precious. I am so glad that I have the opportunity to be involved in their lives. One of the boys told me, only about 20 min into class, I already LOVE my new teacher. It warmed my heart. I already love them, and can't wait to see their growth this year as they are preparing for baptism. You are able learn a lot for a 6 year old.
It is going to be a wonderful year.

I am thankful for my sweet puppies. They are doing so good. They are heathly as can be. We have been watching The Dog Whisperer on National Geographic channel. We are really getting a lot out of the show. Nick and I think that Caesar Millan is AMAZING. We have been putting into practice some of the things that he does to train dogs on the show. The dogs are already responding. They know that as soon as you come inside the house, you go strait to the bed and lay down. They mostly stay there with few reminders until we call them. THEY ARE JUST SMART! It has been fun starting to train the pups with Nick. I just have to stay firm!

I am thankful for my job. I am thankful for the girls that work at the Salon with me. They are all very hard working and have lots of great qualities that they posses. When it all comes together everyones strengths and weakness it makes for a really great team! I love that everyone had their individual personality and that they never change. I am thankful that they have the same goals in mind as I do. I really hope that despite the declining economy we can rise and give the best service experience. That we will become a step above everyone else. I know that we will be able to make this year success! Thanks to them for their hard work!

I am thankful we have been asked to speak this week at church. Last week there was a lady visiting that has two young kids and is a single MOM. I really hope that she is back this week so she is able to hear my story. I am talking on my conversion. I know it is encouraging to hear what someone else has gone though, and the blessings they received from it! I hope it goes well. I bore my testimony this last Sunday, and I was crying so hard I couldn't even understand myself. Hopefully I will have it together a little more!

HOPE EVERYONE HAS A GREAT WEEKEND. Think about what you are thankful for....

wow great post!
I love the dog whisperer too! I'm almost like, "is this real?" because hes so good. Haha.
I'm excited to hear you speak Sunday and your testimony was wonderful! I could tell perfectly what you said and it was amazing! I always start crying up there too. It sometimes keeps me from going up there because I feel like I'm blubering but I always feel so good after I do. I think when people cry it makes me feel what they are saying stronger. I dunno, it's a good thing :)

I really enjoyed your testimony on Sunday. I have a hard time getting up there because I get so nervous so I'm incredibly proud of you for doing it! I'm excited to hear your conversion story. It's kind of interesting to know that I could have said something about the church to you and that I maybe could have helped. I'm sorry for that. I'm glad you're here and I hope you know you have a lot of people behind you.

So I checked my computer and I can see a blue patterned thing on the left side of your blog page. I finally remembered to check.
